Captain Mark Corn of Southern Costa Rica Sport Fishing, located in Puerto Jiminez Costa Rica and Blue and Black Marlin fishing is our specialty and is also the species we target most of the time. There are a variety of reasons why most of our Costa Rica fishing trips are for marlin. Yes they can grow to tremendous sizes which is a major attraction by itself but sharks are big too and we usually won't target them. Our customers that fly down for exotic fishing vacations in Costa Rica seem to prefer marlin fishing too so that is one of the reasons so many of our trips target marlin. But for the crew and myself marlin fishing is our specialty because the marlin species, either Black or Blue is Costa Rica's ultimate fish and it's the world's ultimate sportfish too for that matter.

Because they are the oceans top billfish they provide anglers that are good enough to get hooked up to a large specimen a chance to test his own fishing skills and knowledge. Fish Cartoon Nemo

Pets are what many humans own in the form of cats, dogs and other household pets that serve as companions and soul therapy when one is down or needs the therapeutic touch of animal. In cinema, there have been pets many have come to know and love just as much as the human celebrities.

There is a unique group of these pets that cannot be touched and will forever remain in paper and film and these are the animation pets. One of the most famous animation pets is the love-hate duo of Tom and Jerry. This cat and mouse team created by the Hanna-Barbera company has been a part of many family living rooms for over 50 years and has been in numerous films and television shows.

Nemo in the Disney animation 'Finding Nemo' was one of the most famous of these animation pets. He is captured and becomes part of a dentist's office aquarium. The lovable clown fish's father, Merlin, goes in search for his son in this film. Dumbo, a baby elephant that could fly in the film of the same name, was a lovable character that could fly and had the gift to spread joy fans of this classic tale.

Other animation pets that have been a part of cartoon lovers' imagination are Lady from 'Lady and the Tramp', the 101 Dalmatians from the animated version of '101 Dalmatians', Charlie the Dog from 'All Dogs Go to Heaven' and many others. These animation pets have gained a large following and fan base as much as their 3-D counterparts have.

Who is your favorite cartoon family? It's not an easy question. Is it? When I ask it of myself I am reminded immediately of The Simpsons. Other ideas that pop into mind are The Family Guy family and some from South Park, like Stan's. Let's take a stroll through these classic depictions of suburban life in the 21st century and see what they have to say about us today. They are actually more telling than anyone would know from first glance.

The Simpsons burst onto the scene very strongly in the late 1980's. No one would ever be able to forget the rebellious Bart, the symbol of every little boy who just wants to have fun - and not do his homework. But their cartoon family as a whole is very broad and even. For instance, Lisa balances out Bart by being a hard-working, saxophone-playing do-gooder. And Homer's crack up antics as a lazy nuclear plant employee contrast endearingly to his wife, Marge's awareness of her family as a whole. She is always effortlessly taking care of her baby Maggie. It's just great.

Then with The Family Guy we again see some similar dynamics. For instance Peter the dad is a whole lot like Homer, without being so annoying. And he also has his trustworthy wife Lois. The kids are a little weirder though. I don't really get what's going on with their older boy.

And finally with South Park we see some hilarious American family stereotypes playing out. From white trash Kenny's family, where his mom is always wearing her "I'm With Stupid" t-shirt to Stan's Jewish family, it's all so over the top that it's hard to take offense. There are many funny cartoon families at play here.
